Looking for Nirvana

'Looking for Nirvana' explores Sung’s non-monogamous journey and its unexpected link to childhood trauma, prompting her to confront the lasting effects of her upbringing on self-esteem. Through portraits and text, Sung embarks on a feminist exploration, unravelling how personal histories affect our lives and reshaping an understanding of love.

Comprising four unbound booklets, this publication examines Sung’s non-monogamous connections with C and K, her bond with boyfriend E, and her relationship with self. Its non-linear design invites readers to flip through the pages in any order, immersing themselves in Sung’s inner world through themes of intimacy and the female experience.
