Temporary Residence (2018)
Temporary Residence documents the personal spaces of my university friends in Taiwan, places that served as our first homes away from home.
Living in a small city with limited entertainment options, our rooms became central to our social lives. These spaces served as both personal sanctuaries and communal gathering places, reflecting our individual personalities and the bonds we formed during our university years.
The photographs were taken in May, just before graduation, capturing the essence of these spaces and the memories they hold before they were emptied. By preserving these ephemeral environments, I aim to commemorate a significant chapter in our lives, celebrating the fleeting nature of youth and the enduring bonds of friendship.
